Stephanie Adams (born July 24, 1970 in Orange, New Jersey) is an American model, spirituality author, millionaire investor[1][2], and the November 1992 Playboy Playmate, who continues to appear in Playboy.[3] Adams is also the first Playmate to become a LGBT spokesmodel[4] and advocate in the LGBT community;[5] The New York Post named her one of the "50 most eligible babes in NY" in 1998[6] and The Village Voice named her "Best NYC lesbian sex symbol" in 2004.[7] Adams also appeared as a centerfold in various international editions of Playboy.

On September 23, 2006, Adams announced a lawsuit against a New York city taxicab driver, the NYPD, and the city of New York after a May 25, 2006 incident. Since then, the taxi driver was fined and had his taxi license revoked by the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission. A complaint accusing the police of assault was made at the Civilian Complaint Review Board[8] and filed in state Supreme Court.[9]

Adams continues to write as well as model, and has made several Playboy[10] and non-Playboy[11] public appearances since then, but prefers to keep the details of her personal life now private.[12]
