"Girls Next Door" star Kendra Wilkinson lands her own show on E!
"Girls Next Door" news. But first did you hear Seth Meyers' joke on last weekend's "Saturday Night Live"? He was talking about Super Bowl advertising.
"NBC, which is broadcasting the game, has rejected a Super Bowl ad from the animal rights organization PETA because it depicts sexy, lingerie-clad models being 'intimate' with a vegetable," Meyers said. "So, sort of like 'The Girls Next Door.' "
Turns out that Kendra Wilkinson is gaining a showcase beyond ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner and "The Girls Next Door." She will star in her own E! show, with the working title "Kendra," next fall.
"Girls Next Door" co-star Bridget Marquardt has landed her own show on Travel Channel. "Bridget's Sexiest Beaches" starts March 12.
Off-screen, the "Girls Next Door" women have moved on from former boyfriend Hefner.
Wilkinson is engaged to Hank Baskett of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Marquardt will be in her June wedding. Marquardt is dating several people and traveling a lot. Holly Madison is dating Criss Angel and spending most of her time in Las Vegas.
