Report: Michael Jackson dies after heart attack

Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors at UCLA Medical Center this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma following a heart attack, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The Times said Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to Medical Center, which is only a few minutes away from Jackon's rened BelAir home. Jackson's family began arriving at his bedside shortly after his arrival, a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times.
