Porn goes mobile: iPhone's first nudity app already 'sold out'

On the lighter side today ... It was only a matter of time.

Apple has distributed the first iPhone application with nudity, reports All Things D reporter John Paczkowski.

You can thank the new iPhone's parental controls for letting the already popular app "Hottest Girls" lose its inhibitions. Paczkowski explains:

Browse the Hottest Girls page on the App Store and you'll find the following warning:

"You must be at least 17 years old to download this game.
    Rated 17+ for the following:
    Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity
    Frequent/Intense Mature/Suggestive Themes"

"Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity?" Interesting. It would seem then that Hottest Girls isn't just the first app to boast nudity, it's also the first to set up shop in what may become the iPhone's red light district. It will be interesting to see to what uses the adult entertainment industry can find for the iPhone's accelerometer.

"Hottest Girls" might be the first nudie app, but it can't possibly be the last. The developers announced Thursday that the application has already sold out -- though really they just pulled it because the burden on their servers was too high.

Here's my question. Who the heck is going to walk around town looking at nude pictures on their iPhone? And won't it make other people uncomfortable?

Tune in for what's bound to be a revealing debate.
