Porn star Stormy Daniels visits Southfield Grill in political push

Porn star Stormy Daniels visits Southfield Grill in political push

Porn star, Stormy Daniels' possible campaign for U.S. Senate rolls right through the family restaurant, Southfield Grill on Friday, and the controversy that followed Stormy, lived up to the name.

One curious onlooker said her chances of actually winning the seat are zero.

The reaction from Southfield Grill patrons is mixed. Many were surprised when told a porn star had arrived.

But reaction from the restaurant owners was nothing less than negative.

"We're not behind this and we don't support this at all," said part owner of Southfield Grill, John Escude.

In fact after this interview, the other owner kicked us off the property.

And the cops were called too.

The officer who arrived on the scene with several other officers said "The owner called and said he had a problem with channel 12. What'd ya'll do?" When the situation was explained and the officer was told that the media had receded to the median on Southfield he simply gave a thumbs up and drove away.

The media had been relegated to a little strip of median in between four lanes of traffic, however Stormy had been allowed to go inside the restaurant, we're told to just have a meal, but no politicking was allowed.

"I found that out about 15 minutes ago," said Daniels. When asked what her reaction to that was she replied "I'm used to people being scared, grow some &*%*".

"I think I'ts a little uptight, she wasn't really doing anything harmful," said Stormy Daniels fan, Anthony Tamaccio.

Daniels says she's not even completely sold on running for senate, she calls this trip a listening tour.

"I thought the responsible thing to do before i decide to run was to do a listening tour and it was really important for me to get up here," said Daniels.

Her trek to the Ark-La-Tex was anticipated by fans,  and dreaded by others.

"This is all a PR ploy and it's going to be done at the expense...we're a good local family business," said Escude.

But daniels says the reason for her being here is a serious one.

"Although I am hilarious, and have a great since of humor this is one thing I would never joke about," said Daniels.

Her presence, approved or disapproved, certainly garnered enough attention to get some name recognition in Shreveport, if she decides to run.
